Circadia Group, in partnership with Affiliated Engineers (AEI), delivered a comprehensive MEP peer review for Yale University’s Physical Science and Engineering Building (PSEB). The PSEB is a multi-story 342,000-square-foot facility featuring multiple vibration sensitive lab, a clean room, offices, and support spaces. It focuses on 100% outside air, space conditioning in high-ceiling labs and adaptation to temperature & humidification swings in the local climate.
Evaluating the project at the 50% Construction Document phase, Circadia cross-referenced the designs against Yale’s strict University Standards and the project’s foundational Basis of Design. Through weekly alignment meetings with Yale stakeholders, Circadia’s subject matter experts formulated actionable technical comments. This rigorous review successfully polished the final design drawings, enhanced long-term system performance, minimized future maintenance overhead, and mitigated the risk of costly late-stage project changes.
