Circadia Group was engaged by Temple University to perform a feasibility study of the electrical system at the Tyler, Architecture and Presser buildings. The team provided an onsite assessment of existing electrical assets, incoming public service feeds, potential pathways, and infrastructure critical in analyzing the feasibility of feeding Presser and the Tyler School of Art from a newer set of electrical gear in Architecture. Circadia provided various recommendations that prioritized safety, efficiency, resiliency, and enhanced the practicality of the next steps that would be taken to complete a load transfer. Circadia Group also provided budgetary cost estimates to support funding discussions with university stakeholders.
Following the completion of the feasibility assessment, Circadia Group was contracted to provide permit level engineered design documents aligning with the feasibility study. Circadia Group managed this process supporting onsite evaluation of existing conditions in parallel with their partner HAL acting as the Engineer of Record (EOR). Providing constructability input and cost savings solutions, Circadia Group delivered a cost efficient and comprehensive set of design documents for construction.
