Circadia Group was tasked with the management of a geoexchange field at Poe/Pardee Field. 357 Bores were installed, with each bore reaching a depth of 850 feet. This borefield is integrated into the district energy system via distribution piping, serving the West Plant on Central Campus. Due to the importance of the field to the university, Circadia aimed to minimize disruption by closing the entire field and expediting the construction process. Despite historical rainfall in Summer 2024, the field was restored and turned over on schedule for the Fall 2024 academic semester, ensuring it became available for recreation and campus events for the 24/25 academic year. Additionally, a stormwater management system was installed between the rows of bores, supporting both environmental resilience and the newly constructed Schmidt Health Services Center to the north. The project was completed $12 million under budget.
